Personal Experience & Biography

Tanya A. Hinds was the first Associate to join FT Legal and became a part of the firm in 2019. Sadly, she departed this life on 24 May 2025.

She was a cherished member of the team with a practice spanning corporate services, conveyancing, and estates and played a pivotal role in assisting with building the foundation of the firm. In her client matters, she brought a quiet professionalism and deep sense of care for her clients and colleagues alike. She was deeply committed to self-actualisation and lifelong learning, and completed a Master of Laws with a focus on Corporate Governance shortly before her passing. Her final thesis explored the timely and complex topic of the challenges and implications of the incorporation of Artificial Intelligence in Corporate Governance which reflected her forward-thinking mindset and keen respect for an evolving legal landscape.

Apart from her legal background, Tanya also had a passion for the arts, in particular, music. She achieved six (6) certificates from the Associated Board of the Royal School of Music in Piano in both Theory and Practical Examinations where she was awarded Distinctions and Merits. She was a firm believer that persistence, determination and commitment are the hallmarks of success.

Beyond her professional achievements, Tanya was considerate and genuinely loved by all who had the privilege of working alongside her. Her warmth, humility, and thoughtful presence left alasting impression on both clients and colleagues, and her absence is deeply felt within our firm. She is fondly remembered for her kindness and generosity of spirit.
